Great
Investment? ...let's hope!
Here are some pics of my house. This is my first purchase... and
if I had to do it all over again, I would probably buy something
in a little better condition. That said, I think it's a great investment.
I started the renovation officially in February of 2004. Many $1,000's
later, my house has come a long way.
Here's a summary of the major work already accomplished:
- New roof
- All new copper plumbing with whole-house water filter
- Updated electrical, outlets, and lighting
- NEW KITCHEN!
- Central Heat & Air
- New carpet upstairs
- Refurbished hardwood floors in the kitchen area
- New 1/2 bath and laundry room on 1st floor
- New Master Bathroom
- Rehabbed Enclosed porch and vestibule
- Refinished Dining and Living Rooms
- New carpet upstairs
- Refinished original hardwood floors (whew! ...and yes, drum/belt
sanders WILL leave marks in your floor if you leave them in one
spot for more than .3 nanoseconds)
What was originally listed as a 5 bedroom, 3 kitchen, 2 1/4 bath
house has really turned out to be a 3 bedroom, one kitchen, 2 1/2
bath house.
